ABOUT RENNIE FABRICATION
MALCOLM RENNIE - MANAGING DIRECTOR
After finishing school, Malcolm entered into a five year apprenticeship with William Reid Engineering, who also encouraged him to study mechanical engineering. The opportunity then arose for Malcolm to work offshore, giving him the chance to experience the oil and gas sector. He has also worked in Australia within the mining industry. Malcolm is now Managing Director of Rennie Fabrication.
Malcolm started Rennie Fabrication in 2002 in Rafford, Scotland. With the expansion of the business he then relocated to larger premises in Forres and now employs a dedicated team of skilled fabricators. Rennie Fabrication have developed into a successful and reputable fabrication company and have built up a large client base over the past eleven years with repeat business from satisfied customers in construction, oil and gas, marine and the distilling industries.
Due to further expansion of the business and increased demand, Rennie Fabrication have recently relocated to new premises which gives them double the capacity, allowing them to take on larger, heavier contracts.
Rennie Fabrication have a strong reputation locally for quality products and work ethic. They hold certification to ISO 9001:2008 and have recently been accredited with BS EN 1090 allowing them to CE mark structural steel. They also have their own Health and Safety systems and an environmental policy which is based on ISO 14001. They are also looking towards FPAL accreditation.
